Still on the run from the Commission, and unsure who to trust, Penn and her friends seek out a hopeful ally in an acquaintance of her father's. And lingering questions about who was really buried at the Hollow, and who's truly the enemy make trusting anyone difficult.
But things are changing...
A viral video makes an appearance online, showing the raid that saved Penn's sister. This new proof of the Commission's true activities makes people angry enough to challenge the organization at every turn; it makes them start paying attention to the lies and the cover-ups. For the first time in months, hope seems to be a real thing again.
Then the sky turns pink. Jellyfish-like blobs return to their seats in the atmosphere, and Penn's instinct to protect the people around her draws her into the open in front of a Commission convoy. Now it's a race to make it to her father's contact before the Commission catches up, but once she's there, she may find that no sanctuary is safe anymore.

If you've started the series, you'll understand my review. My biggest disappointment with the book is that I expected this to be the end of the series. Instead, the series is (my opinion only....) beginning to feel like "The Fugitive." Every time the main characters escape, they have to escape again and again and again... this is the third book that leaves the ending hanging. While I loved the series in the beginning two books, I'm disappointed that we're not advancing the story as much as I would like to see... and falling into a pattern that is familiar and disappointing. Rise Through the Storm Book 3 of the Celestine Series edition by LJ Hatton Children eBooks Reviews
There is no resolution to the story and no book 4 in the series making it a very unsatisfactory experience
The ending was awful. I have been waiting for the next book, if there is one. Is the author writing one?
I love this series! The characters are well developed and this installment to the series is just as great as the last! Can’t wait for book four to come out.
I'm not a young adult. But you don't have to be to love this series. I am waiting impatiently for book 4.
I don't like stories with open endings.
Book 3 was just as exciting and suspenseful as Book 1,and Book 2. I was taken on an emotional rollercoaster ride where I never new what would happen next.
I must say that I was kept hanging at the end with no closure. Is there a book 4?
It keeps going with ups and downs. Some revelations and the discovery of even badder bad guys... Wondering where this'll end up in the end. Worthwhile read, so I'd recommend it
